More than 370,000 passengers on board 97,000 vehicles have traveled to Tunisia through the Tunisian-Algerian borders from January 1, 2016 to August 21, 2016, according to statistics published by the Algerian customs services,
It is also expected that as many as 1.5 million Algerians visit Tunisia during the current year.
According to Algerian sources, nearly 6,000 Algerians daily cross the border post of Oum Teboul located north of the Tunisian-Algerian border.
