Tunisia: A fund to help companies set up in Africa

A new investment fund managed by Amen Capital, called “Africamen” and dedicated to funding the expansion of Tunisian companies to Africa has been launched.

The launch took place on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the headquarters of Amen Bank.

Africamen is a joint venture capital mutual fund, with a size of 30 MTD, subscribed to by Amen Bank, Caisse des Depots et Consignations (CDC), Poulina (PGH) and STAR.

It targets Tunisian companies with an established business model and wishing to accelerate their development by deploying their activities in growth markets of Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Fund’s objective is to provide enterprise customers the capital funding and necessary support for the stimulation of exports, the establishment of foreign subsidiaries or the realization of acquisitions.
