Tunisia, Cote d’Ivoire expand cooperation in property sector

The National Union Chamber of Real Estate Developers of Tunisia and the Chamber of Authorized Promoters and Builders in Cote d’Ivoire signed Monday, August 22, 2016 in Tunis, a partnership agreement in the field of real estate development, reports the site abidjan.net

The agreement sets the framework for cooperation between the two chambers and therefore specifies the joint action.

On the cooperation component, the two sides agreed to strengthen relations and explore all avenues and all means to promote exchanges of experience between Tunisian operators and their Ivorian counterparts. These exchanges will address the regulatory, land, financial, technical and vocational training aspects and supply of building materials.

The Contracting Parties also pledged to promote the creation of joint Tunisian-Ivorian companies and economic interest groups bringing together operators of both countries.

To ensure the monitoring and coordination of the different actions, it was agreed to put in place, in their countries, a permanent structure for this purpose, the source said.
