Tunisia: creation of Tunisian-Sudanese Business Council

The creation of a Tunisian-Sudanese business council was decided on Thursday in Khartoum. The decision was made by the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA) and the Federation of Sudanese Businessmen, on the sidelines of the bilateral economic forum in the framework of Prime Minister Youssef Chahed’s visit to Sudan on March 22 and 23.

Boubaker Zakhama, the Tunisian chairman of the Joint Business Council signed the program of action of this council.

A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the insurance company “Aon Tunisie” and a Sudanese company active in this field. A second memorandum of understanding between the company “Laboratoires MédiS Tunisie” and the Sudanese pharmaceutical company “Laos” was also inked.
