Exports of fishery products increased by 11.8% in value and its imports declined by 15% during the first 10 months of 2015, thus recording a significant improvement in the coverage of imports by exports of 271% against 205% during the same period in 2014, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources said in a statement released on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
Exports of fishery products reached 16,030 tons worth 253.6 MTD against 16,260 tons worth 226.9 MD, during the same period in 2014.
This increase is explained by the rise in exports of fish and crustaceans, says the same statement.
