Tunisia: five companies exhibit their products in Iraq

Five Tunisian companies, under the supervision of Tunisia’s embassy to Iraq, are currently exhibiting their products at the food fair in Iraq. These are a canned food company (tuna and sardines) and vegetable oil and 4 others specializing in sunflower oil, agricultural equipment, electricity and tourism.

This is the first participation of Tunisia in the fair, after that of 2003, announcing the return of Tunisian companies and products in the Iraqi market, which remains the largest market in the Middle East region and the world in general.

The Tunisian market actually enjoys an excellent reputation in this market, which imports most of its food needs.

The Tunisian pavilion was well attended by Iraqi officials, headed by Trade Minister Salman Jemili and exhibition visitors. The Tunisian pavilion also had a significant local media coverage.

Thus, “The Day of Tunisia” will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016. In addition to this day, tasting of traditional Tunisian dishes and pastries sessions will be organized on this occasion.

The Tunisian participation at the fair will be an opportunity for Tunisians to establish contacts and partnerships with Iraqi businessmen.
