Tunisia: foreign and joint investment rises 43.6%

100% foreign and joint industrial investments grew from 373 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) during the first seven months of 2015 to 535.7 MTD in the first seven months 2016, posting an increase of 43.6%, show the latest figures from the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII).

This increase is due to both joint ventures whose investment rose from 216.9 MTD to 283 MTD during the first seven months in 2016 (+ 30.5%) and 100% foreign projects whose investment reached 252.7 MTD against 156.1 MTD during the first seven months 2015 (+ 61.9%).
