Investments reported in the industrial sector reached the amount of 1,896.9 million Tunisian dinars during the first eight months of 2016 against 1,705.2 MTD during the same period of 2015, posting an increase of 11.2%, according to figures released by the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation.
The number of reported projects reached 2,406 during the first eight months in 2016 against 2,289 in 2015, up 5.1%. These projects will create 34,959 job positions, against 33,911 job positions during the first eight months 2015, posting an increase of 3.1%.
