Reported investments in the industrial sector have reached the amount of 1,737.2 MTD during the first seven months in 2016, against 1,453.4 MTD during the first seven months 2015, posting an increase of 19.5%. This is what appears from the latest figures from the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII).
The number of reported projects reached 2,180 during the first seven months in 2016 against 2,071 during the same period in 2015, up 5.3%.
These projects will create 32,314 job positions, against 29,890 job positions during the first seven months 2015, up 8.1%.
