Tunisia still in free fall in Global Competitiveness Report

The Global Competitiveness Report of the World Economic Forum in Davos (2015-2016) has ranked Tunisia 92nd out of a total of 140 countries with a score of 3.93.

With this new ranking, Tunisia loses once again five places compared to 2014 (87th with a score of 3.69). It was overtaken by Morocco and Algeria, which came 72nd and 87th, respectively.

Countries that top the list are Switzerland, Singapore, the US, Germany and Finland.

Presented on Wednesday, September 30 at a press conference held by the Arab Institute of Business Managers (IACE), the report sets Tunisia as the tenth Arab economy and the eighth African.
