Some 30 Tunisian exhibitors are taking part in the Summer Fancy Food Show held on June 30-July 2 in New York.
Tunisian participation in this 64th edition, overseen by the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX) and the PACKTEC Packaging Technical Centre, aims to promote a rich and diversified Tunisian offer of agro-food products, namely: olive oil, dates, pasta and canned food.
Over a total area of 200 m2, Tunisia’s pavilion has attracted a large number of professional visitors coming to discover the offer of Tunisian companies.
Cooking and tasting sessions are held in the Pavilion to allow visitors to taste typical Tunisian dishes prepared with olive oil.
Tunisia has participated since 1999 in this show and has exerted considerable efforts to position the Tunisian agro-food products on the U.S. market and support Tunisian companies to win market share.
The Summer Fancy Food Show brings together over 2,500 exhibitors from 55 countries and nearly 45,000 trade visitors. It is the largest event dedicated to food products in North America.
