Tunisia: AeTECH sees continuous drop in sales in H1

The company AeTECH saw its turnover fall by 51% to 3.1 million dinars at the end of the first half of the year, against 6.3 million during the same period in 2018.

This decrease results from the discontinuation of low margin activities, according to the company.

In the same vein, operating expenses posted decline of around 55% from 6.9 million dinars at the end of June 2018 to 3 million at June 30.

Personnel expenses decreased significantly to 728 thousand dinars during the first half of the year, i.e. down 21% compared to the same period in 2018.

Therefore, the EBITDA goes green in the first half to 15,737 dinars against -592 thousand dinars last year.

The EBITDA margin thus stands at 1% against -9% a year earlier.
