Tunisia-Algeria: PEC contracts with Tahkout

Tunisian group Plastic Electromechanic Company (PEC) led by Imed Charfeddine will soon conduct business with Algerian group “Tahkout” in the field of “production of automotive spare parts and the development of local subcontracting, reported Algerian online newspaper “DIA”.

“The same source said that Tahkout was allowed to transfer its money through Algerian banks.

PEC is a Tunisian company, totally exporting, created with the participation of European industrialists in 2002.

It is specialized in the subcontracting of the injection of technical parts in thermoplastic and the maintenance of the molds. It also specializes in the assembly, finishing, testing and integration of electrical and electromechanical systems, automotive, industrial, medical, aeronautical and writing instruments.

The Algerian group, headed by Mohiédine Tahkout, is active in the automotive sector and has a Hyundai assembly plant in Tiaret in Algeria, not including transport.
