Tunisia and Jordan speed up pace

The Jordanian-Tunisian Business Council discussed Monday, July 9, 2019 ways to develop trade relations and overcome obstacles, improve intra-community trade and promote trade between the two countries.

Talks took place on the sidelines of the Tunisian-Jordanian business meeting organized by the Jordanian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with UTICA and the Tunisian Embassy in Amman.

The Council underlined the importance of strengthening joint efforts to address all challenges that could hinder the growth of trade and to promote trade and investment between businessmen and exporters from both countries.

It also stressed the need to encourage the mutual participation of industrial and commercial institutions in specialized exhibitions organized in both countries.

Discussions also focused on trade missions to help promote and identify each other’s products.

The meeting also made it possible to identify commodity needs and open up more opportunities for cooperation.
