Tunisia: contract to develop industrial and innovation strategy by 2035 signed

The Ministry of Industry and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and the Tunisian-Spanish group “IDOM/BID Consulting”, signed on Wednesday in Tunis, the contract on the development of the industrial and innovation strategy by 2035.

The 9-month project is financed by a grant from the African Development Bank (AfDB) with € 670,800, said Minister of Industry and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Slim Feriani.

In concrete terms, this means conducting detailed analyses that can be translated into government programs over the next 15 years,” he indicated.

The project will also assess current industrial policies and the innovation system, in addition to the preparation of comparative studies with five countries; namely Morocco, Chile, Poland, Portugal and the Czech Republic.

The contract was signed by Director General of Industrial and Technological Infrastructure at the Ministry of Industry and SMEs, Kamel Oueslati and Director of the group, Iñigo San Emeterio
