Tunisia: Dollar surpasses for first time 2.9 dinar mark on interbank market

After the euro last week, it is now the turn of the US dollar to cross a new historical threshold against the Tunisian dinar.

Thus, according to the daily data of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) on average foreign exchange rates, the US dollar exceeded for the first time, at the November 12, 2018 meeting, the threshold of 2.9 dinars, and is now traded at 2,922 dinars.

The greenback thus raises its rating compared to the Tunisian dinar to 21% since the beginning of the year, after a 6.1% increase in 2017.
