Tunisia: Electrostar sees its turnover fall by 36% in 2017

2017 has been a difficult year for Electrostar in many ways. The company headed by Mr. Fathi Hachicha said Monday it had achieved a turnover of 54.1 million dinars in 2017, down 36% from 2016.
This decline is explained by the strategy adopted by the general management to secure its sales and control its client risk, the company said.
In terms of investments, the company made only maintenance investments for the sum of 357 thousand dinars whereas in 2016 the company invested more than 8.2 million dinars.
As for bank commitments, they amounted to 86.9 million dinars as of December 31, 2017, down 25% compared to the same date in 2016.
