Tunisia: Hexabyte improves its half-yearly revenues by 45% to 4.5 million dinars

Hexabyte’s revenues increased by 45% to 4.5 million dinars in the first six months of the current year against 3.1 million a year earlier.

For the second quarter alone, this increase was 115% to 2.4 million dinars. This rise is mainly due to the increase in revenue from ADSL and XDSL solutions.

Correlatively to the sharp increase, operating expenses grew 60%, reaching 3 million dinars. This evolution is the result of the start of wholesale sales at the one-stop shop launched with Tunisie Telecom.

The company continues, however, to manage its cash surplus well, generating substantial investment income.

In the first half, EBITDA rose sharply by 21% to 1.4 million dinars. However, the margin on EBITDA fell to 32% from 38% at the end of June 2018.
