Tunisia is 105th out of 160 countries on the logistics performance index

Tunisia ranked 105th out of a set of 160 countries rated by the World Bank in the Logistics Performance Index (LPI).

Tunisia was a little better than Morocco which ranked 109.

Tunisia’s score has steadily declined since 2012 when it was 3.17 with a ranking in 110th place.

“Published every 2 years by the World Bank, the logistics performance index reflects perceptions of a country’s logistics based on the efficiency of customs clearance processes, the quality of commercial infrastructure and transport infrastructure related issues, the ease of organizing competitively priced shipments, the quality of infrastructure services, the ability to track and trace consignments, and the frequency with which shipments arrive at the consignee on time.

The index goes from 1 to 5 and the highest score represents the best performance.
