The Yazaki Company, a wiring harnesses specialist, has expressed its wish to boost its investments in Tunisia, according to a well-informed source from the Ministry of Industry and SMEs.
A group of company officials, headed by Uwe Abraham, expressed this wish at a meeting with Minister of Industry and SMEs, Mr. Slim Feriani, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
They also stated their intention to expand their Gafsa and Bizerte units with important investment plans that could create substantial jobs in the years 2019 and 2020. A new production unit will also be created in an interior region.
For his part, Minister Slim Feriani expressed the support of the government and especially of his department to such investments that contribute to the economic growth of Tunisia.
His department will provide the necessary support to help investors achieve their goals
