Tunisia’s olive oil exports reached 63,000 tons, generating 423 million dinars, between November 2019 and the end of January 2020, Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries Samir Taieb said on Thursday.
“Exports will continue at a steady pace and may exceed 250 thousand tons by the end of 2020, or revenues of 2.4 billion dinars,” the minister added at a press briefing on the progress of the 2019/2020 olive season.
In the same regard, he specified that the quantities exported to the European Union reached 5,085 tons.
