Tunisia-Qatar: trade soars in H1

The volume of trade between Tunisia and Qatar has posted a 200% increase in the first half of 2018.

The figure was unveiled by Tunisian Ambassador in Doha, Slah Salhi, who said relations between the two countries have become stronger over the years.

The diplomat added that more than 26,000 Tunisians live in Qatar, reflecting the growing and strong relations between the two countries.

Qatar is the second largest foreign direct investor in Tunisia, accounting for 16% of the FDI available in the country, he pointed out.
