Tunisia: Roadshow Special Nigeria in Tunis, Monastir and Sfax end February

A Roadshow Special Nigeria will be held in Tunis (February 24), Monastir (February 25) and Sfax (February 26), the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX) said in a statement Wednesday.

A delegation of purchasers will visit Tunisia in a bid to seize business opportunities in five sectors, namely agribusiness, construction industry, technical control and inspection (TIC), construction material and health.

The event will saw the introduction of the Nigerian market to Tunisian industrialists and exporters as well as organization of professional meetings between Tunisian operators and members of the Nigerian delegation.

Meetings are also scheduled with the CEPEX representative residing in Abuja, so as to offer these operators a better insight into this market and to set the stage for possible support in prospecting missions.

The Roadshow is part of the « Think Africa » platform, a network gathering public and private support structures in Tunisia providing assistance to companies. The goal is to help them increase exports to Africa’s sub-Saharan markets.

This activity is also part of “the project Promotion of employment-intensive export activities in new markets in Africa (PEMA initiated under the mandate of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ, in cooperation with the Tunisian Ministry of Commerce and (CEPEX).
