Tunisia’s tourism receipts rose by 30.8 percent in the first four months of 2018, said Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation Zied Ladhari.
Quoted by the Middle East Monitor, he added that tourism, industry, agriculture and services have contributed significantly to the country’s economic recovery.
According to figures previously published by the Ministry of Tourism, tourism receipts reached 457 million dinars (182.8 million dollars) during the first three months of 2018.
They amounted to 371 million dinars (148.4 million dollars) at the end of the first quarter of 2017.
