Tui said it will be introducing new routes to Tunisia, departing weekly on Mondays, and Hurghada, Egypt departing weekly on Fridays, as it announced its winter 2020 program.
Leon McQuaid, head of aviation development at Newcastle Airport was quoted as saying by the ChronicleLive: “we are delighted that TUI have further expanded their destination portfolio with the addition of Sharm El Sheikh into their winter program, as well as extending services to Hurghada and Tunisia.
“Tunisia and Egypt are extremely popular destinations due to the year-round sunshine, and we have received countless requests for services to Sharm El Sheikh – so it is great to see these popular winter sun destinations on offer to the North East travelling public.”
