National carrier Tunisair will hold a special meeting on April 25, 2018 to decide on the company’s capital increase.
The Board of Directors called on the shareholders to attend the special meeting to vote on two decisions concerning the company’s activities and obtaining an agreement in principle on a capital increase, according to a statement released by Ilboursa.
The company’s activities have increased for the 12th consecutive month by 24% according to data released by the company last week.
The Tunisair group has faced financial difficulties in recent years, requiring the state to inject funds for its refinancing.
Tunisiair is the only carrier listed on the Tunis Stock Exchange, after the suspension of the listing of Syphax Airlines’ shares in November 2014, then its removal from the alternative market in November 2015.
