The unemployment rate is estimated at 15.2% for men and 22.8% for women. The number of the occupied is 3,472 million and is distributed in 2,560 millions men and 912 thousand women.
Compared with the second quarter of 2017, the number of employed posted an increase of 14,100 occupied. The breakdown of occupations by sector of activity is as follows:
52.3% in the service sector,
18.3% in the manufacturing sector,
15.2% in the non-manufacturing industries sector,
14.3% in the agriculture and fishing sector.
The number of unemployed graduates in tertiary education is estimated at 270,600 in the third quarter of 2017, which corresponds to an unemployment rate of 30.1%.
